We use an embedded label and report library, the RAVE Visual Report Designer from Nevrona Designs (www.nevrona.com/rave). Specify is able to produce reports with a wide variety of options for layout, fonts, graphical design, bar codes, and other formatting features. There is virtually no limit to the design features you may choose for printing catalog pages, specimen labels, loan invoices, shipping receipts and other types of forms.

Below are sample reports generated by Specify. These are from actual Specify clients. You may develop your own Specify report designs or templates, but because of the programming-like interface and flexibility of the report designer, initial development of report templates can be complex. The Specify Project offers report design and development as a free service to registered users. Many users are then able to modify their baseline report templates as incremental changes are required.

These samples are meant to illustrate the range of printed report and label formats possible with Specify. The report designer can print image files, bar codes, and utilize the complete array of font features and output devices supported by Microsoft Windows.
