The Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections (SPNHC) held
its annual meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico in conjunction with the
Natural Science Collections Alliance (NSCA). Specify had a booth during
three days of the meeting. A plasma screen animation showed the
new features of Specify 5.0 while two laptops which served as
one-on-one assistance centers. Andy Bentley and Rod Spears also gave
presentations in the Informatics meeting session on Specify 5.0 and Specify
6.0 respectively. Both presentations were met with great interest.
