Creating Report Definitions Manually
To define a data view for your report:
- From the Specify menu bar, choose Tools > Report Designer. The Available Reports dialog box appears.

Next click on the Add button.

Since we are creating a report, select the Full Setup Report and click OK.

Select a search that contains the fields that you want to use in your report OR select a search and use the grid fields. Click OK.

Select the source of the fields. Click OK.

Enter criteria to limit the records. Click OK.

Select the number of duplicates that you want to print. Click OK. There may also be a message saying what the name of the active dataview. Click OK.

The Rave Report will be started.

Click on the Report Tab. Select the Region Component and then click in the white gridded area. You should see something similar to the above image.

Change the Height to be 10, Left to be 0.5, Top to be 0.5 and Width to be 7.5

If you want a header banner or a title section, you can select a BandComponent.

To change the name of the report, select the report from Report Library.

Click on the Report Tab.
